Viking Warrior

Katie and I connected on Instagram in 2021 after noticing how many mutual friends we had in Austin, Texas. We were both living in Los Angeles, so we started comparing stories about the events we used to attend. It turned out we had probably crossed paths many times: I was photographing events or selling my art, while she was performing with artists I knew or enjoying the scene.

We hit it off immediately and soon became close friends, with a shared desire to create. For our first shoot, we headed to Malibu, California, to catch the golden hour. Katie had made her entire outfit, and her striking fur coat became the centerpiece. She looked like a warrior, and the skull in her headpiece fit naturally with the imagery I love to create.

That shoot marked the beginning of a wonderful friendship. We’re still close and continue to create together today.
